I just found out that MaryAnn Halibozek, a woman I directed in Reckless, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
Terminal. Brain. Cancer.
She is tremendously talented, sweet and funny. I can't imagine what she must be going through. One thing that made me laugh, and occasionally roll my eyes, about working with her was that she needed constant reassurance that she was doing a good job. I was as much a handlholder for her during that show as a director.
She played seven different doctors. Here are some pictures of her in Reckless. (I'm not sure how to do a cut, so I hope it doesn't take up too much space.)
