It has been a while since I've touched this thing. Goes to show how exciting my life is, right?
I was recently, as in like 3 weeks ago, admitted to the Terry College of Business here at UGA as an International Business major. I've decided to do my area of emphasis in Legal Studies, though.
Halloween was delightful. I had to dress up four different times, though, for an onslaught of halloween parties. I was rather frugal and ended up wearing the same costume--speed racer--each time. Oh well. Krush Girls on Halloween was a blast. It was packed as usual and the music they played was on point. I wouldn't have chosen to spend my halloween anyway else.
This past weekend I was in Atlanta for my friend, Kevin's, birthday, which was held in a suite at the Mariott in Atlanta. I got a little too festive, though, and partook of too many spirits. I then watched my dinner from The Cheesecake Factory empty out onto Piedmont Road. Oops, I'll clean that up soon, Shirley.
I can't stop thinking about whom I'm going to live with next year. I kind of want to move somewhere else, just so I can rearrange and repaint, but I really don't want to deal with the hassle of packing and unpacking. I have a feeling I might be living with one, if not two, of my three current roommates. If we decide to stay in this house, we're going to have to find a third and/or fourth roommate. I know the time for all of that is so far away, but I just want to have some sort of idea in mind.
Speaking of which, my house is currently "infested" with ladybugs. Can you really call it an infestation, though? That'd almost be like bitching about too many rainbows or butterflies or unicorns or something. I don't have a problem with them really, until they kamikaze my body and I freak out thinking that it's a much more attrocious insect ie a cockroach or fly.
My 21st is coming up relatively soon; and, of course, I have no idea what I'm going to do, much less where I'm even going to be at the time I turn 21. It's during Thanksgiving break, which, of course, I'll be at home to regale in family food, fun and festivities. Black friday being the day right after Thanksgiving, I'll be out at the malls by 5 in the morning with Stephanie fighting obnoxious white women at the doors of Lenox.
I'm really excited about getting a Christmas tree, too, for the house. I really just want to buy ornaments for it, and I want big, gaudy, lights for the tree, like big old-school Christmas lights. The house is divided, too, one whether or not to have colorful lights or just plain, white lights. White lights are so boring! Blake and Joey think that colored lights are "trashy" and "ghetto." Funny how the two country kids say that.
Next semester's looking like hell. I have 4 Tuesday/Thursday classes and only 1 Monday/Wednesday/Friday class. I'm in an academic dilemma, where I'm stuck between dropping my MWF class and having only Tues/Thurs classes or dropping a Tues/Thur class. Ugh.
