Well, everyone is slowly making their return to Athens, and the days and nights have gradually been getting more entertaining.
Friday night Nkenna and Robert came down to visit, and I took them around to visit others and what not. We decided it'd be a good idea to play tennis at 12:30 at night or so, and we found out the tennis stars hidden within Robert and Nkenna. Nkenna brought the household their own little photo montage to put up on the walls. It was a really cute idea, though some of the pictures were not the best ones to display.
Saturday night was crazy as hell. I got a bit friendly with a drunk 39 year old mother at the Winery, and the next morning I found her number stored as MILF. She was crazy as hell and definitely did not look 39, but we kissed a few times and she went on and on to her friends about how her new gay friends. Her homophobic male companion was rather attractive, too. After that, the rest of the night was spent at the Molly's where I witnessed some domestic abuse among my coupled friends, but that was too entertaining to stop. Said couple found their way to my house and my bedroom before I could even get home. They had to go. My bathroom was destroyed by one of them, and I still a little mad about that.
I got my grades in today, and I made a B+ in MIST and an A in African American Studies, so with the new scale and everything that's a 3.65 for the semester, which is better than the 3.5 it would've been.
I'm kind of sad I never really went on a real vacation this summer. My sister offered me a trip to Florida, but I would've had to take my nieces with me, and I didn't want to spend my vacation babysitting. Plus, I'd have absolutely nothing to do during the evening. My dad also wants me to go with him to Tennessee to visit relatives, but I have better things to do than sit outside on the porch and watch their cows, horses, and other livestock. So, it looks as though I'll be spending these last nine days in either Athens or Marietta. What a summer!
PS: I really hate Fergie's song.
