This is Mallorie's mother, and I will give each of you one chance to leave her alone. To stop all the rumors..Mal IS FINE, she has had some problems and has taken care of them. I will not tolerate some of the behaviors I have in the past from some of you. And the ones that are guilty KNOW who they are. I have spoken to the authorities and I know my ( Read more... )

I never met your daughter and only have a vague idea of what she might be going through. She added me to her friends list, and I was happy to add her back because she reminded me of myself at her age, discovering my bisexuality. I saw in her greater awareness and much more open-mindedness than I felt at her age, and I remembered how I wanted to talk to someone, ANYONE who might understand, who will not be judgmental. If I could be an ear, I would be very happy to do so.
Understand that I never expected to MEET her, but wanted to help in whatever tiny way I could; like I wish someone helped me at her age.
I don't know if you're a good mother or not, your post may indicate that you are, but it has a slight sanctimonious tone that makes me a bit nervous for her; because do you love her UNCONDITIONALLY?
What if she decides she's gay... Will you still love her?
Again, you sound like a good mother and I hope that whatever it is she's going through leaves her happier and safer.
Let me know if you want me, a total stranger, to remove myself from her friends list.
And love her unconditionally, because from the few tiny glimpses I saw she has a very promising future.

the kids in my art class are probably getting tired of hearing me saying, "i miss mallorie." everyday.
i wasn't sure where she was, and i'm glad that you are talking to her about everything.
i hope she "straightens" everything out.. literally.
i do not encourage her confused feelings. in a way, it makes me extremely uncomfortable to even hear anyone say anything being like that.
i respect that you are taking action against it, and i give you a thumbs up for being there for your daughter.
keep in touch,
louisa*
