Loss of appetite

Dec 13, 2005 15:58

Recently I've not been very hungry (probably thanks to recent family events I suspect). This is not normal for me. I tend to eat tons. So help!!! I need to get re-inspired by food or something. What should I cook tonight?

i've been making a lot of bread recently. a nice fresh caremelised onion wholemeal loaf takes 90 mins from start to finish, so you could whip up a soup while you're waiting and be amazed.

alternatively, the mushroom burgers from tescos are too tasty - stick them in a bun with onions, halloumi (or not, for you are of delicate stomach) and other stuff.

I haven't had fanjitas in ages! Although I did have a 3 bean mexican tortilla wrap for lunch today.

Hmm... Maybe some kind of sauted veggie wrap with melted cheese is in order?

Ello there stranger/neighbour!!! It's been a while. How ya doing?

(P.S. I'm feeling the mushroom burgers. I could go for one of them and proper tart it up with onions and lettuce and fancy pants cheese) :-D

it's SO good - but they do tend to fall apart very bloody easily, so i recommend putting them all in a flour tortilla. i always have mine with cajun grilled onion, pepper and courgette, and some mayo, and some grilled halloumi and lettuce and it's SO GOOD.

yes, it has been a while - i've been better, but i've also been a damn sight worse. good to be back in the real world though (not refering to LJ, by the way). currently nursing a pulled muscle in my neck though, so am moving about like a robot.

really sorry to hear about your dad, by the way. i know that's not a great comfort, but i was thinking of you last week when i heard.
