Converge, Partying?
Ridiculous night last night.
Went to a show at starland for the first time in forever (since sotu i think)
Priestess: Not bad for what they play, yet it was defintely not the type of band I would want to see before seeing a band such as Converge. Nonetheless, respect them deep for the kind of music they play, since it's so scarce these days.
Converge: Heaviest set I think I've ever seen (besides Nights Like These, who are just ridiculously heavy with their 6-8 amps). Converge live is nothing like I've seen before at a show. They don't do anything to make them necessarily heavy on purpose, yet every single thing they play is heavy. Heavy as fuck, and its brutal. I wish I could see them in a small venue, I can't imagine how absurd that would be. Defintely one of the best sets I've seen in a while, and defintely the best set I've seen at a venue such as starland. I'd see them again in a heartbeat.
The party afterward was absurd! The house looked like a real World house. The people were chilll, kind of got there late but still had mad fun. Left at 130, went to Applebees. Matt/Jason ruled. Went home 230, goodnight.
Now I'm watching Juvies for the rest of the day.
Hopefully that kid has more parties,
house/kids rule hard.
