Ode to KCD

I remember the first time I saw this band 3 years ago. I was still into "punk rock", casualties, sex pistols, aus rotten constantly on my playlist. I went to one Steve's Basement show with my cousin's friends because they told me I would love a certain band there. This band was KCD. I was in complete shock when they went on. I had no idea that music like this was created, and I was infatuated with it. I wanted to hear more... so I asked my cousin's friend if he had anymore stuff like this. Long story short, I began lsitening to bands like Gorilla Biscuits, Warzone, Tear It Up, This Ship Will Sink, Kill Your Idols, etc. and began going to more Steve Basement shows. Only thinking of music as entertainment at the time, now after becoming so involved with the genre of hardcore between the shows, friends, and the attitude changing (including maturity level going rapidly), I have found something I will be in love with til the day I'm on my deathbed. That I truly enjoy, and never get sick of. If it wasn't for KCD I probably would have never even known nor cared what this "hardcore scene" is all about. Friends, Music, Unity, Enjoyment.
And I'll never be the same Greg Morga I was prior to this awesome experience.

Thank you KCD for not only changing my music preference, but my life as well.

I'll miss you guys more than anything.
