Happy Diwali
I haven't posted in like 8 months, so I thought I'd ruminate over my friends' posts and subsequently let them know I was still alive.
Collecting unemployment is awesome, I hope Vibrant takes their sweet time calling me back. I save about 600 a month, for a rainy day... My India trip is already saved for as a couple hundred ounces of silver, and an ounce of gold.
Obama's latest address is about the evils of insurance companies... He's awesome. I found a neat lj daily obama pics thing.
I have become a total hermit lately... Or maybe I've always been that way. I read books about this guy called babaji and think that I need nothing but silence. It doesn't even need to be external silence, but inner silence. Unless I'm repeating Ram Ram Ram.
La and I have been doing Chod for about 6 months now... I have the damaru, bell, kang-ling, and text. I guess Chod is cutting attachment. I have two final hurdles: weed and games... I feel like those keep me coming back to my house while I do virtuous things at La's house... An interesting dichotomy of places. I also have plants and fish to feed at my house, but I could easily spend all day at her house, and I would probably be more edified.
I am every moment more and more aware of the power of words, will, and belief.
