Christmas in Denver

Dec 29, 2008 08:18

We had a good time in Denver. We were there too long, but it's still hard to leave Nico. Seriously, I've never felt so in love with anyone in my life. This isn't even my child, and I love him more than anything in the world. When he smiles at me, I melt. When he gets upset, I melt. When he falls asleep in my arms, I feel peace. It's scary how much I love him, it's scary that he's not even mine.

stop squeezing me auntie!!

I need to tell a story about this photo ;) Nico was born with so much hair, we called him a monkey. That turned into 'monchichi' so I hunted around and found a monchichi doll on Amazon. But, even cuter, it was the 'bebechichi' (from Japan, of course.) We HAD to put Nico in a matching outfit..
(I'm not sure why but this photo makes me MELT he's so friggin cute!!)

I was messing around the day before we left and made these shoes for him:

Now that I know how to do it, I think I'll whip up a bunch more!

And just because.. here's a pic of my cute husband :D

(and yes, I'm always in the back because I'm 4 inches taller than them, and yes Jameela has lost ALL her weight, her baby is 15 weeks old, duh)
