Dozing as he was on his bed, Daisuke blinked blearily hearing the bed next to him creak. It had been a pretty busy day for him, as he had spent most of it running around in the snow, and he had tired himself out. Since he didn't like the nap room (why would you want to sleep in the same room as a bunch of other people instead of your own room?) he decided to take a little nap during this free time. He had nice roommates anyway, so it wasn't like he was worried someone would prank him in his sleep.

After another moment of silence the redhead sat up, rubbing his eye with the palm of his hand and looking over to see who had arrived. "Aoyagi-kun!" He said in a voice close to a cheer, happy to see him even if he was a little sleepy. It looked like he had done just what Daisuke had done upon reaching his room - flopped down on the bed instantly.

It took him a second to realize that Ritsuka didn't look very happy at all, and the short boy shuffled off his bed and crawled over to his friend's bed on his knees. Once he reached the edge of the bed, he rested his arms on it and set his chin on his hands, looking up at the other male curiously. "You okay?"

It took Ritsuka a few moments to comprehend that anybody had even spoken, much less to him directly. After his mind decided to work, however, he glanced down at Daisuke and gave him a tired smile. " 'M fine," he said in a quiet voice, though the bruises forming on his body and his general tone most likely betrayed the lie he had just told. "Just tired, is all."

With that, Ritsuka sat up completely, hoping his body would be able to take the sudden movement. "It's kind of hard to see straight...I...don't really think that's good."

His brows furrowed upon seeing Ritsuka's expression. Even if he was smiling, it wasn't the smile of someone who was 'fine'. It wasn't one of his friend's normal smiles, not one of the ones that made him feel mushy inside when he saw it. This sparked a bit of worry in him, already.

Not to mention that even he noticed the soft brown bruises beginning to form on any skin Ritsuka was showing, as unobservant as he was. "You don't look fi - "

Daisuke stopped speaking in surprise when the other boy sat up, watching him with wide, curious eyes. The moment he finished speaking, the redhead went into worried mode - this usually happened when people he cared about got hurt. Standing up just as quickly as Ritsuka had sat up, his eyebrows furrowed deeper yet at the confirmation of his concerns. "What happened?!" He questioned, almost panicking and unsure of what to do with his hands.

"I just got smacked up a bit, is all," Ritsuka said in a low tone, blushing ever so slightly. It did not embarrass him to admit that he had been hurt; after all, he was used to it - it was more the fact that Daisuke was showing such concern towards him that brought the pinkish flush to his face. "Nothing more than that, I'll be fine."

Adjusting his position to become more comfortable, the young blackhaired boy winced slightly when he turned the wrong way, causing pain to surge through his body.

"Who, who?!" Daisuke demanded, a distraught expression playing over his face. He finally decided to place an arm gently over Ritsuka's shoulders, hoping it wouldn't hurt him. Really he wanted to give him a hug, but from how he reacted from a little movement, it didn't look like that was the best plan.

The boy had never been good at dealing with stressful situations; this wasn't necessarily a stressful one, and it wasn't Ritsuka's fault, but he was working himself up.

But even in this frantic state he knew that he had to get something to make the younger boy feel better. More questions came to mind, and he bombarded Ritsuka without meaning to. "Where are you hurt, what should I do, do you want me to go get a nurse?!" He whined a little, pulling Ritsuka a bit closer because the need to hug was honestly too great, even if he managed to hold it off. He wanted to bring comfort to the injured boy, he just need some instructions first.
