A part of Zexion didn't even want to look up when he heard the quiet greeting. It probably wasn't meant for him (though he hadn't seen any other people when he entered; if he had missed this one, he could have missed more. Why would someone be saying hello to him, anyway?) and even if it was, he wasn't interested in having a conversation. More often than not he liked to be left alone.

However, he found himself turning to peer around the back of his chair where the voice had come from, at least wanting to see who it was. He noted the shadows that covered the other male, but after a mere moment he recognized him as Raito. The one that had caused Watanuki and L all that trouble, and a minor nuisance to Zexion as well.

Similar to the first time they crossed paths, Zexion only raised an eyebrow at the boy as if to say 'we already went through this last time,' and turned back to his books. Honestly, he didn't see the person that Watanuki said he was; Raito was only an annoyance. Couldn't he see that the smaller male was perfectly fine staying here quietly, just reading? It wasn't like he was bothering anyone with this, and he just wished others would mind their own business.

So. This was a frequent thing with this boy. Raito would greet him, and he would in turn be ignored. It was beginning to unsettle him.

He watched as the boy turned back to his books, waiting for his moment. It didn't take long, and when Raito figured that the boy was deeply emerged in his book, Raito stood with out a sound. He stepped closer, making sure each slow foot fall was no louder then a feather drop.

He reached his destination, just behind the boy, standing over him with a dark glint to his eyes, the rough, scratchy laugh of the shinigami filling his ears. Slowly, so slowly he reached down, cupping a firm hand over the boys mouth. There was no want for his screaming now.

"You've angered Kira, boy. It's time to be taught a lesson in respect."

Startled out of his thoughts, Zexion tensed and dropped his book in surprise. His hands went to the one Raito had over his mouth, pulling at it insistently and letting out a muffled yelp.

He had snuck up behind him? How had he let that happen? Cursing silently at his own absent-mindedness, Zexion looked up at the other male, flinching slightly at the look in his eye. If he had just been paying more attention, he could have gotten up before Raito even grew near, and possibly escape. There was nobody else in the room. This was a horrible situation for him to be in, and he couldn't believe that he had let himself into it without realizing it.

Obviously Raito was a very different person than he let on.

In his slowly mounting panic, the seated boy noticed that Raito called himself by a different name. This confused him, but he didn't stay idle, trying to yank the boy's hand away from his mouth so he could at least he could yell for help. There had to be a nurse somewhere close . . .

His smirk widened as the boy tensed under him, grasping at his arm, struggling to be let go. Like an insect trapped under a glass, struggling to find a way out of it.

"Shh, shh, don't scream. This'll be fun."

Well it would be fun, for Raito at least.

"Those who defy Kira's will must pay. You've done so, and thus you will pay. Do you understand?"

His lips were close to the boys ear, hot breath breathing against the shell, awaiting the young male's answer.

Fun? Certainly not. He had some deranged ideas of 'fun' if this was what Raito had in mind. Even if he hadn't done anything quite yet, his promises of payback were enough to give the smaller boy an idea of what was going to happen. If he didn't get away from him, that is.

Shaking his head immediately after the male's words, partially to deny them and partly to get the feeling of his breath away from him, a shiver of fright going down his spine as he made another noise of protest though it was quieted by Raito's hand.

Because he was already quite afraid due to his post-traumatic stress, Zexion was almost tempted to go along with what the man said. If he cooperated, it would probably please him, and maybe he could get out of this less hurt than originally. But it wasn't possible for the slate-haired boy to just sit there and let him do what he wanted; he was shaking slightly as his hands gripped at Raito's arm but couldn't pull it away.

So, at the risk of making the male angrier, Zexion bit down hard on the palm covering his mouth, trying to get his quivering body to get out of the chair and only half-succeeding in gathering the energy for it.

He winced, and at once yanked his hand from the boys mouth. He...he wasn't expecting that, and it shocked him momentarily.

Moving just as quickly, he used his other hand to grab a handful of hair on the boys head, pulling him back, toppling the chair over.

In the back of his mind he could hear Ryuuku laughing at him, and he sent a glare in his direction.

"You should have kept quiet and been a good boy. Now, you deal with the full extent of Kira's punishment."

His words were dark, matching the dark glint in his brown eyes that nearly glowed red in the dim light of the room.

He couldn't tell if his medicine was working anymore. For all he knew it could've still been in full effect and he was merely too frightened for it to calm him down like it normally did. It could have been because this wasn't a normal situation that the medicine was growing steadily more ineffective, and he felt more and more like his old self. Zexion could easily see now that he preferred himself on the drugs greatly in comparison to this.

Yelping and squeezing his eyes shut tight when Raito grabbed his hair, Zexion found himself on his back as chair tipped over with him still in it. It was a difficult place to try to get out of, but he would have wiggled out of the chair some way or another if the air hadn't been knocked out of him from falling backward. That mixed with the icy fear running through his veins made him far too dizzy to do much at all, much to his dismay.

Once he opened his eyes, the look in Raito's eyes paralyzed him in fright. From this angle he looked a great deal like one of the two men that broke into his dorm and assaulted him, and he had a difficult time even getting his voice to work. "No, don't - please - " He managed, the images from the past and present bleeding together as he stared up at the other boy.

Pretty. The boy was so pretty when he was scared. It made his smirk grow into a grin, eyes sadistically pleased. He hadn't been this excited since that one insolent little boy, Fakir. Or at least that's what L called him. Thinking back made Raito's look even darker, remembering that it happened her in this very room.

But it would be unoriginal to do the same thing twice. Anyways, an invasion of someones body was for those who used their words to insult, to try to question his law. No. This one was rude with out his words. This one needed to be scared into being a good little boy.

Placing a knee on the boy's chest, Raito pinned him down, or at least, for the most part.

"Tell me child, do you believe in God?"

At the knee on his chest, Zexion gasped, blinking in an attempt to get his eyes to focus on Raito. Distracted as he was by his own thoughts, he could only whimper quietly and shake his head in reply to the boy's strange question.

His mind was filled with his own helplessness, he was trapped, just like last time. It didn't feel like there was a chance for anyone to save him anymore, half-engulfed in a flashback as he was, and when he thought to shout for help a part of him reasoned that his college roommates had left for the night, and nobody could answer.

"Don't," He pleaded again, normally exceptional persuasion skills failing him. "Please don't do this, g-get off me!" Zexion's smaller hands went to the other boy's knee, trying to push it off of him almost frantically as alarms went off in his mind, don't touch me, don't touch me.

Though he felt numb, his legs moved without his notice, pushing him away from the seat of the chair in a last ditch attempt but not dislodging him from under Raito.

The unexpected movement caused him to lose his ever perfect balance, causing his temper to flare up once again. It was the ones that fought back, denied their fate, defied the word of Kira; defied the word of god.

Quickly catching himself, Raito moved after the boy, grabbing him by the scruff of his shirt collar, lifting him as he stood. He stood with ease, despite the extra weight of the boy as he dragged him to his feet. He pushed the younger male back, back, holding on to him, making sure the boy wouldn't stumble and fall. He pushed him back, back into the wall with a loud thud.

"I asked you a question, child. What, can you not hear me? You're only making matters worse for yourself."

He hissed the words, hot and angry into the boys ear, pressing him up against the wall. Such ignorance would not be tolerated.

As relieved as he was when Raito almost fell, Zexion had hardly prepared himself for another squirm when he was yanked up to his feet. His hands flew to the other boy's to try to pull them away from his collar, but his efforts only ended up in him scratching at Raito's hands with dull nails; he was shaking too much to do any real harm.

Never mind that even if he had managed to get the angry male to let go of him, Zexion probably wouldn't have been able to keep himself on his feet. His legs felt like Jello, and had Raito not been holding him up, he would have just melted to the floor.

He had been staring at the brunette rather closely while he was pushed, somewhat caught up in the look on Raito's face, wondering and dreading what he was planning; would he be able to get out of this still, or with just a mild hurt, or did the boy intend to go through with a harsher 'punishment'? There was no doubt he was terrified, because even if he tried to prevent it, Zexion didn't think he would be able to physically stop the insane male from reaching up and grabbing his throat.

A question, what was the question? He couldn't focus, nor could he think of an answer that Raito would want to hear. "God - ? No, I don't h-have a religion," It was true that his position in religion was a bit complicated, but he was telling the truth. Honestly he could only hope this wouldn't make the boy angrier, because Zexion only wanted to get away from the breath on his ear, and squirming didn't seem to be helping much.

Releasing his grip slightly, Raito stood only a step back, looking at the quivering boy.

"Is that so?" he asked in a hushed voice.

He reared back, bringing the back of his hand over the boys face with a hard smack.

"Wrong answer."

With a startled yelp, Zexion stumbled slightly when he was backhanded across the face. His legs didn't support him without Raito holding him up as much, so he slid down the wall.

"S-sorry, I'm sorry," He managed out quietly, one hand gripping the arm still reaching out and holding his collar, the other cupping his own cheek. It was burning like mad.

Honestly he didn't know what else to say. It didn't look like Raito was going to let him go anytime soon, whether or not he did anything right. Was there a right answer to that question, anyway? Zexion was too frightened to think properly, to get his limbs to cooperate with him; he could hardly figure out what the boy wanted to hear from a trick question like that.

In a normal state of mind, he would have noted that Raito seemed to think he was a god, and probably wanted Zexion to treat him like that, or something to that degree. Even then, the slate-haired boy probably would not have done it, just because a part of him refused. No matter how scared he was.

He watched as the boy slumped to the floor. He frowned and pressed his foot to the boys chest, attempting to hold him down.

"No you're not. Don't lie to Kira."

Raito scowled, and moved his foot upward, pressing the arch of his foot over the boy's throat.

"Now, I'll ask you again; Do you believe in god?"

By now Zexion was hardly struggling, his limbs slowed by his own fear. It felt hopeless anyway; he had been fending the other male off best he could and it hadn't gotten him anywhere at all.

Raito thought he was lying? The shorter male blinked, staring dully at the foot on his chest. He was sorry, sorry that he had gotten mixed up with the boy; Watanuki had even warned him and he had paid no mind. This was his own fault.

Wincing, Zexion's hands came up to pull weakly at the foot cutting off most of his air supply, on instinct. "Y-yes . . . ?" He couldn't breathe, even when he tilted his head back to try and get some air he only choked.

He pulled his foot back, placing it on the other side of the boys torso, standing over him with a dark, smug look in his eyes.

"Good."

He shifted his weight, pressing the heel of his shoe into the boy's rib cage.

"Now ask your god Kira for forgiveness."
