He hoped this was the last day he'd have to spend with nurses constantly checking on him and an IV sticking out of his arm. Hisoka had managed to get one of them to bring him some books, since he didn't want to watch TV, and he sat up with one in front of him. Although he didn't quite understand all of the symbolism in this book, like the green light a character kept looking at, he had the feeling that everything in it was about to go remarkably bad and he couldn't put it down.
If someone walked in, he probably wouldn't even notice until they said something.
