Summary: Newly released from solitary, Lavi sneaks over to spend some time with his partner in crime.

Not wanting to get up and investigate, Kallen burrowed under her covers again only to find that the noise would not stop. Realizing that someone was at her door, she crawled out of the warmth that was her bed and slowly made her way to the door, ready to yell at the person that was disturbing her.
Opening the door a bit, Kallen peered out and blinked at the light that suddenly assaulted her eyes. "This had better be go--oh........." she said, cutting herself off when she noticed her visitor. Kallen opened the door a bit more, rubbing her eyes. "Come on in."

He pulled back slightly, a gloved hand coming up to touch her cheek, to press back through her hair, checking her over in his own way as though assuring himself of her relative health.
"Back to bed. You've got to be freezing," he finally said, a hand planted lightly against her back to propel her there, adding his own stack of blankets to her bed, adding to the warmth.

"And......I'm sorry. For........." Kallen's voice trailed off as she thought of how to complete her thought. Sorry for getting caught? Sorry for getting hurt? "For everything that happened." she finished.

"Then we will. The minute we have the chance to," he said simply, pulling back slightly to press a kiss to her cheek, nuzzling there for a moment. "And there's nothin' to be sorry for. I don't blame you for anything."
