Title: Looking a Gift Horse in the Mouth
Characters: Dai, Mao
Location: Solitary
Rating: PG-13 because of Dai.
Summary: Mao decides to be a smug bastard and visit Dai in solitary. You can imagine the results.
Day/Time: Day 61.
Mao was not the most pleased nurse on the planet. In fact, he'd quieted down a bit since his little scuffle with Dai. Being put in his place was not something that happened often, and while Mao was let off the hook and Dai was the one who ended up in solitary (of course), that did not change the fact that his nose was now bandaged and that there was now the faint yellow hint of a passing bruise.
No matter. This would be worth it.
Mao had special permission to pay a little visit to Dai, using the excuse of checking up on the patient's progress as a cover. He had on him a syringe of regular sedatives and one of grape juice, should it be needed.
He creaked the door to the solitary room open, striding in and shutting the door behind me.
"Why, hello there, Dai Lee," he said.
