Keiichi did take off the neck brace. He felt calm right now, so he didn't run a risk of scratching his neck. He did bring it with him, hiding it behind a plant. Just in case he felt the urge, he wanted to be able to stop himself.
He plopped down in a seat at the back of the library. A ruse, really, to fool Satoko. He wasn't going to be the one to break in this first, oh no. Do everything to win, that was the code. Of course, he wouldn't make Satoshi uncomfortable.
Unless Satoko was watching. Then he'd have to torture him, but just a little. He'd explain when everything was over and apologize so there weren't hard feelings.
After all, what were the chances trickster Satoko was honest in her explanation of Satoshi's actions?
