Ah, it was nice to be a real doctor again. Sure, he had never been a not doctor but waiting for the residency to come up had been killer.
They were nice here. Gave a guy food and board, even his own office. That had never happened before. Well.. once but it was a closet with a table in it and he even had to share with an angry ex girlfriend. It was brutal.
This, on the other hand, was amazing in comparison.
Files were in the right place, his chair was the right height, All was good.
It was time to meet with his new patients too, and seeing as how none of them were dying, in need of immediate aid or missing limbs, it seemed promising.
All he had to do until they came was read his Mad Magazine and sip morning-cocoa.
