Title: The Search for the Ruby Slippers
Characters: Dorothy Gale, EVERYONE AND ANYONE
Location: The hallway
Rating: PG, possibly higher depending who joins but Dorothy will always be PG.
Summary: Dorothy is searching high and low for some sign of the Ruby Slippers in a hope they will transport her back to Kansas. No luck so far.
Day/Time: Day 50, Free time
She hadn't been there long, and yet already Dorothy found that she was lost and lonely. She had been so sure that if she found the sparkling red shoes all of her problems would be solved. She could return to Kansas with them and explain patiently to Auntie Em and Uncle Henry that she was not insane, only a bit overexcited. She would stop trying to tell them about Oz... They didn't belong in a place with such unbelievable things anyway. She would find people more discreetly that would believe her about the magical land. Besides, if she found the ruby slippers, maybe, just maybe, Glinda would be able to hear her. Maybe the good witch would be able to tell poor Dorothy where Toto had gone.
For now though Dorothy realized she didn't know where she was in Malaise, nor where she was going. Faintly she remembered someone mentioning a room number to her, but that had been a while ago and by now her thoughts were absorbed in her task. Someone had mentioned that there was an animal therapy room. Was it possible Toto had been sent there?
If only Dorothy could find those slippers... She was sure everything would be fixed if she could.
"There's no place like home..." She whispered, sure the phrase she loved so much could fix everything. "There's no place like home..."
