Millie was so happy! First day officially on the job, and she felt she was already doing a splendid job.

She'd even gotten up early and everything! Well, hadn't gotten around to writing yet, but as a nurse, she could take pens with her and there was always dinner. Big-Big Brother always said people think better on a full stomach, after all.

Unless they're swimming. Which she was. You aren't supposed to eat before going swimming, you could get cramps, and those are never good. She'd already told the patients that, though...or she thought so.

It was probably best to just make sure.

"Everyone, remember," the brunette called to the 'class', her high, musical voice reverberating off the walls surrounding the pool, "if you just ate, you shouldn't be swimming. You have to wait for a least half-an-hour. I think." She paused, tapping her top lip with a long index finger. Then she turned to the pretty silver-haired kid who'd just swum past her.

"Have you eaten recently?" she inquired innocently. Then, just as innocently, she adjusted ( ... )

Yzak didn't quite seem like he was listening to Millie when she told them, again, that they shouldn't be in the water if they just ate. When she addressed him directly, however, the silver-haired male stopped his idle floating and looked over to her.

"No. But it'd be a little late now if I did, wouldn't it?" He commented rhetorically. The comment had the potential to be sarcastic and snarky, but for once Yzak chose to keep it tame.

"You might need a new bathing suit." Yzak pointed out blandly. He was almost strangely uninterested in the fact that Millie's top was riding down, and only seemed to really take note of the way the nurse was picking at it.

"Why would it be too late?" Millie replied, obviously confused. The class wasn't over, so obviously it wasn't too late. Or maybe the boy meant they were running late. Hadn't she started on time? She'd thought she'd started on time.

Suddenly worried for her presumed punctuality, something she'd be sure she'd expressed wonderfully today, she quickly glanced at the clock over on the tiled wall.

Nope, she'd started just five minutes ago and it was now 10:35. Or...was that 10:36. The brunette squinted at the clock, picked at her left strap, then turned back to the young man she'd been speaking to and looked at him like she'd just realized he was there.

"...Have you eaten recently? If you have, you really should sit out for another thirty minutes. I think."
