Title: Toxic Love
Characters: Zexion and Kadaj
Location: The pool
Rating: NC-17 beshes. What has Kadaj been doing the last few days? 8D
Summary: Kadaj is depressed because he's been lying to his brother and Zexion decides to help.
Date/Time: Day 5, night time.

Following the almost familiar halls, Zexion walked slowly, brushing his hand against the wall as he went. The texture felt strange against oversensitive fingertips ( ... )

His arms tightened around his legs for the moment, his head turning so he could rub one of his cheeks against the arm of his top, sniffing lightly afterwards. He felt like curling up and dying, at least until he heard footsteps.

He jerked his head up rather quickly, looking towards the other male then pulling his hand around to rub at his eyes, trying to rid himself of the tears only failing when more came to his eyes.

Stretching one leg back out, his arms clutched the other to his chest still, green eyes looking towards the pool before sneaking another look towards Zexion. He was trying to ignore the fact that he was crying, trying to tell himself everyone did it.

``No.. I'm not alright, Zexion. Sorry that you have.. to see me like this..``

Warily approaching the pool, Zexion sat next to Kadaj, tilting his head and sweeping the hair out of his vision to catch the remnant's eye. "Please don't." He requested, not even really sure what he was saying.

His body felt fuzzy, and he looked down at the water, dipping the tips of his fingers in and swirling them around lightly. The cool water felt good on his hot skin, and he sighed quietly in pleasure. Glancing back at Kadaj, he asked, "What did you lie about?"

When he caught the other's eye, he looked away again and tightened his arms, biting on his lower lip. He was trying to stop crying, really, but it was harder than it looked.

He took a shakey breath and sighed it back out, eventually shifting to stretch his other leg out and leaning backwards onto his hands, sniffing lightly. ``I lied to my brother..``

Shooting him a somewhat sympathetic look, Zexion scooted a closer to Kadaj as some way of awkward comfort. "About what?" He repeated, watching him.

It was almost surreal, the movement of the water making wavy reflections on the ceiling. Zexion retracted his hand from the water, wiping it on his jeans and pulling his knees to his chest relaxedly, imitating Kadaj to lean back on his hands.

Looking up when Zexion moved closer, he blinked rapidly then straightened up a little, letting his head fall against the other's arm. ``A lot of things..``

He clenched his hands into fists, wincing his eyes shut when he felt more tears and trying to fight them off, his actions betraying him when one slipped down his cheek.
