Much of this weekend has been spent panicking over my equity essay. No matter, a plan has now been formed, and it involves hotfooting to the library before my 9.30 lecture tomorrow to find an article.
Friday evening, I popped over to
grandmasam and Clare's, they were decorating their Christmas tree, which now looks fabulous. Also amusing, as the star's too heavy for the top so it droops and leans to one side. We also watched a Christmas film with Matt and Sarah, but I feel I've lost the little festiveness I've had this year.
I'm also trying to convince
grandmasam and
miss_chewinggum to come down to Southampton with me for New Year, although I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be more difficult than I first thought.
Last night was spent in the Old Horse pub trying not to laugh at the drunken Fencing Club who literally could not stand up straight. We also saw
funkymonkey1986's flatmate Rob and a couple of other friends play in the orchestra, which was something a bit different to do on a Saturday evening. The obe soloist was absolutely fantastic though.
I'm off to the pub again this evening for a catch up with eveyrone and the Wetherspoons roast dinner deal. I've had a serious craving for yorkshire puddings for weeks now, which needs satisfying. Then it'll probably be back to
grandmasam's for Top Gear. Yay!
