My old friend
Today, I went to the London Mela with Resh. We even managed to go cycling this morning before we left (which was practically the crack of dawn), so we went to the County Park again. It seems Wickford County Park consists of a large hole of water, which is apparently meant to be a lake and a couple of fields of dandelions. The Mela was good, there was about five stages there with all different types of Asian music, theatre, dancing and the such like. The food was utterly divine, and with so much to choose from I was in culinary heaven. Twas a fabulous day, save for getting soaking wet walking back to the tube station!
Friday night I met up with Allan. Twas the usual experience, with him trying to get me drunk, for once not succeeding; general chit-chat and catch up. The strange thing at the moment is that earlier today I had plenty of things I wanted to update with and now I cannot think of most of them, maybe I'm just a little frazzled un momento.
I know one thing was that I'm considering is making my journal friends only. I've never been shy about what I've written in my blog, but lately.. I don't know, maybe I feel I should be more cautious about what I write. Not because what I'm writing I wouldn't say to somebody's face, but more because I'd rather not have the possible aggro that would go with it.
