All hail our new robotic overlord
On Friday I took delivery of my first robot. Specifically a iRobot Roomba 770 which is being allowed to take over the cleaning of the downstairs. It's doing a good job so far and watching how it navigates is entertaining. Not to mention the added fun of being able to take control and drive it around the floor.
Despite having run over the floors with a Dyson just a couple of days before, R2, is doing a very good job of finding dirt and fluff and hair that I had missed.
Tomorrow is his big chance to prove how good he is as I've set him up a schedule to go forth and clean each weekday in the morning so that when I come home everything such be clean and tidy. Or at least as clean as tidy as it ever gets around me.
