GCG Chronicles, continued
Pretty eventful day. RRC (where I work) is frequented by excitable taitais and aunties who trust the judgment of teenage salegirls more than they trust their own. "I think that one nicer leh, but since you say this one blahblahblah easier to match blahblah, I take this one lor." And they refuse to be convinced that opinions are things that VARY. Lol.
Bitch of a jam on the ECP, got to guitar class 30 minutes late. -_- Had dinner after that with GCG and some other guy from class. Actually, GCG and I originally went without the other d00d, but we met him at the food court and its only polite to invite him to sit with us right? Anyway, dinner yielded interesting conversation.
The other guy: "You two are classmates?"
GCG: "Nonono."
Other guy: "Orh." [knowing look]
YM snorts into her soup.
GCG: "NONONO we're not THAT either."
Other guy: "Oh really ah. I always thought you were."
YM and GCG: "....."
Other guy: "I think the teacher thinks so also lor."
GCG: "...WALAO. No wonder when I came to class just now he was looking at me funnily lah."
YM: [is laughing like a hyena] "Must be cos I wasn't there."
GCG: "Yar man. WALAAOOO."
Other guy: "I really thought so lor. Only you all never hold hands one."
YM and GCG: ".................."
At this point he looks about ready to dunk his face in his noodles and I am laughing madly.
IT IS BEYOND HILARIOUS. I wanted to tell him we should play along but figured he might get the wrong idea, which is precisely what I do not want. So I didn't. I can sort of understand the misconception. We talk quite a bit before class and we walk to the entrance of Cent. Sq together after class, so yeah people probably would assume.
HAHA! HAHAHAHAHA.
A lot more to say about today, really, but I need to clean up the stuff I just spilled on the table. Eating in front of com = bad.
