The evil and armed draw near; The weather smells of their hate And the houses smell of our fear; Death has opened his white eye And the black hole calls the thief As the evil and armed draw near. Ravens alight on the wall, Our plans have all gone awry, The rains will arrive too late, Our resourceful general Fell down dead as he drank And his horses died of grief, Our navy sailed away and sank; The evil and armed draw near.
I thought about it for ages, but I have a genuine blind spot there, which I have worked to get rid of and really cannot. I have a qualification in poetry, and I still can't remember!
I can avoid being devoured by the secrets of reality for periods when focus is required. If focus is not required, I wander off. If focus is required, focus is had.
My initial concern was that one of the secrets of reality would pop your head off for a snack. Now that I consider the matter at greater length, "Feldane" addresses the potential drawbacks of that situation.
As yet, none of the secrets of reality have popped my head off for a snack. However, my notes overflow with helpful doodles from Prince Brand, so that is a state that may change.
On the other hand, yes, should something come and eat my head, there is always the unhappy situation of the urn.

The weather smells of their hate
And the houses smell of our fear;
Death has opened his white eye
And the black hole calls the thief
As the evil and armed draw near.
Ravens alight on the wall,
Our plans have all gone awry,
The rains will arrive too late,
Our resourceful general
Fell down dead as he drank
And his horses died of grief,
Our navy sailed away and sank;
The evil and armed draw near.
I find the classics so comforting.
