Well I just got an intesting posting for a teacher today. It's for a teacher for a 7/8 class for Thursday afternoons every week, at Meaford Community School. It doesn't say the topic but still. Sounds perfect for me huh? What does everyone think? The other bonus is that there's a new principal, it's no longer that ineffectual guy that was there when I did the LTO for the Grade 8's.

Back to the SG thing...people shoudl take a look at this video...I'm not sure I like it all but it's got it;s moments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnMQ_izNvGw

The other big news is from Laura again. She's going to be part of a group travelling to Cambodia to build families houses. While she's here she's going to visit a place for mistreated kids, an AID hospice, and a school beside a dump. Yes a dump. The only way they could convince the parents to let the kids go to school was to pay them a 1/2 cup of rice a day and put the school on the side o fthe dump so the kids could scavage when they weren't in school. Amazing isn't it? Anyway, it's going to cost her $1400 CAN to do this and they have to raise the money for the houses they want to build and it costs about $800 per house. If anyone would like to help her with this, please let me know.

In news at work Mr. Free (my nemisis) has goneon medical leave with high blood pressure and mild depression. I'm not surprised. Hes made his bed and now he has to lay in it, and I never figured it would be a very comfortable bed. The other thing is one of the councillors has suggested they make his position permanent!!!!!!!! *Please wait while I throw up* Yes, and it's rather convient that he take this time off since he won't be here to answer any questions while they deliberate over this! His scum, I don't wish him permanent ill health, but I also wish he didn't work in the Municipality!

I also found out this week that the Municipality is giving all workers a 3% wage increase, retroactive to January 2006. This means I'll get about $500 extra on my paycheck this week, which will promptly go on my school debt. Yeah.

Finally, but not so intersting, our house now has air conditioning. It's finished and my parents are still recovering from the shock of the bill.

Well my Dad and I are off to see "Billy Bishop Goes to War" at the theatre tonight. I'm hoping to see Peter Pan, by the young theatre group, next week.
