Happy Thanksgiving
I just got back from our family diner. Actually, the first one, on my Mom's side. I love my family but sometimes I have a hard time dealing with all 40 of them (and that was with about 10 missing) at the same time in the same house. It was nice this time though, there were some little ones to dote on. My sisters Godson came with his Mom (she's sort of been adopted) and we watched a bit of a movie and played Bingo. I'll be off at my fathers side of the family tomorrow. It's smaller (even though both my parents are from families of 5), only about 20 there.
Anyway, works going okay. I finally go tthe scarecrow invasion exhibit up and finished. It actually looks pretty good. I also think I might have a handle on how I'm going to do the education exhibit which has been bothering me for some time. The next one is the Tom Thomson which I hope will be rather easy as it's a really small exhibit case. I also hope to have some of the military exhibit finished before I leave. I don't get back until a few days before Rememberance Day and the special one should at least be up for that day. I haven't really got anything else done at work so I hope that doesn't bother the board at teh October meeting. Can't be helped really.
I have somehow managed to develop a cold in the last few days, but it hasn't been that bad. Had a sore throat for a day and now my nose is running but I'm not really stuffed up, headachey or anything else. I don't often get sick and most of the time it's not that bad so this should most likely be gone rather quick. I'm just upset that it had to pick the one day this month I was going to be around 40 other people! I hope I'm not contagious, one of the reason's I left a little early. I really can't figure out who I got it from, I'm not around many people working by myself so much and nobody I now has had a cold. Oh well, if this is the one cold I get each winter then at least it's over with now.
