Update of the month
Okay so I never really finished my post from lastmonth. I can't believe it's been a month since I last updated! Laura's been home a month and is gone again. She should have arrived ing Singapore today. Hopefully she had a good flight. My mom managed to hold it together until Laura got on the plane and then just lost it. She was okay after a minute but she took it hard. She's away for another year and we've got a shit load to mail to her. She was planning to take back wayyyy too much. I'm kinda glad she's gone though. Her thing with this boyfriend, Darek, was driving my parents mad. Problem is, they may be right. Laura's been over there a year and hasn't saved a thing. In fact, she left here wiht her credit cards maxed out at $5000 and with bills left to pay! I can't imagin how dhs'e don this. Not to mention she's asked my parents for more money with no idea how she's going to pay them back. I really thingut they would be breaking up at the end there but they're still together. I don't know if it will last the year though. Only time will tell.
As for my other sister, who's still unemployeed and also becoming poorer as we speak, she's finally mailed off the divorce papers....while at the same time sleeping with the git! What a twit. I do'nt wknow what she is thinking. DOn't really want to know either.
As for what's happening in my life, well I've officially turned 27, and I'm still living at home. Had a cute little cake thing at home and then spent the next 4 days at the group camp out. I had a lot of fun and read a fw books I had been wanting to get to. It was a nice break. Then my parents took a few days off and went down to the States to buy shampoo (side story all on it's own) and while they were there they found...dun dun dun dun...Stargate Season 10! So guess who's starting watching those. Yep, that's me! I get the second season of Atlantis for Christmas apparently. Yeah for me!
So in other news I have a BIT and I do mean bit, of a life now. I've been talking to this guy through e-mail for a week or so. He's been quite nice so far and when I'm done here I"m going to write him back. so far I knwo he likes Sci-Fi, reading, and ancient history. That's a good start I think. Anyway his name is Panos and he lives in North York. No pic as yet so don't ask.
I'll be going Camping again next weekend with Barb for four days at Cyprus and I'm really looking forward to that. Mind, not getitng into a bath suit I don't fit but hey, can't have everything.
I'm also taking a week off in August. I'm hoping I can convince Roann to come up and see me for a few days.We had a good time last year yard saling together and staying up watching movies. We'll have to see. Now, for those on the other side of the pond, I might have some time off in November to go and see them. Nothing can even be considered until after the board meeting on the 15th but I'mhoping. Not sure how the finances will work but I'll worry about that later. I would love to see Amy and Heather again, not tomention Anya and maybe even Sarah. It would be agreat fun.
Finally, my latset obession is the same as half the planet, I'm reading Harry POtter! I re-read book 6 and then dived into the last book. Read it in one day,and then re-read the ending. Contrary to most, I happened to like the ending and the epilogue. It left so much to the imagination and I can see years of fan fic cming out of it. Yeah for me! I also went and saw the movie Order of the Phoneix. I really enjoyed it more then then the previus one. It was well done, although, like the previous ones it left out many story lines. Couldn't be avoided though, unless they wanted to make a 6 or 7 hour movie.
So, that's about it for now. I'll advise if anything changes drastically. Hope everyone is holding in and enjoying the summer. Let's wait and see what the next few months brings.
