I'm back. . . for the moment
So its the end of June and I can't until the beginning of July. The cemetery tours will be over, the Pathfinder trip will be done, and I'll be able to unwind.
My Board has been driving me nuts with this bus tour. I was given the job of writing the script and I didn't get all the information until yesterday! I hope they don't expect to have it memorized for the tour because the thing is 15 pages long! I hope it's interesting enough. We couldn't find many stories and many of them just tell about how the cemetery developed. They haven't done half the stuff they needed to. Again, it came down to me. Thank god we're not doing any other things this year. I'm not planning anything else.
I have a few forms left to do for the trip and still haven't recieved a permission form from one girl, but that's okay. If she doesn't show up we'll take another girl. That an I'll be insisting that they pay for the entire ticket. We only charged then $20, but it's costing about $60 per girl. I'm not wasting that on a girl who doesn't bother to show up.
Roann and I went camping last weekend for 4 days. We went to Awenda Provincial Park which is up by Midland. It was really cold on Saturday but warmed up a bit each day after that. On Saturday we went into midland and walked theirmain street. There was a lot we could do there but she wasn't in the mood. We were celebrating the fact that she got a full time job for next year. Anyway, we went back and basically read the rest of teh weekend. It was a nice break. We had taken a 2 hour hike the day we got there by accident. We were trying to get to the beach and ended up walking and walking and walking. The stupid beach was at least a 45 minute hike from the site! Hike, not walk. It took 25 minutes to drive there! Anyway, it was too cold to swim so that wasn't an option. Our site had a lot of shade, almost took much, cuase we got no sun. However, it was nice not to have to put any sun screen on.
Anyway, we had a good time and I can't wait to go camping again. I enjoyed it.
Crystal is working out well and we've rehired Hailly again this summer. She worked out well last year and it seemed silly to try and train someone again when she knew a lot already. We're enjoying each other's company and getting along well.
Other then that not much happening around here. No guys. Hope you guys are having a good time with school finishing and stuff. Talk to you soon.
