My boring life....

Okay so I can't get those stupid quiz things to work but just so everyone knows apparently Heather and I are twins cause I got exactly the same response to both the seduction and geek quizes! Hmm....does this suprise anyone?

Anyway, things have beenmoving along here. I'm not getting anything done at work, can't focus for some reason, but that's okay. I'll start to feel guilty soon adn work my ass off for a week or so to make up for it.

I had an interesting weekend. I went to the Guides Christmas Craft Camp...18 10 and 11 year olds! I figured it would be a nightmare but it went really well. Very few problems and although we didn't get to all the crafts they'd planned they really enjoyed the ones we did do. They were very enthusastic and really did everything we told them to. I really enjoyed it. I might also have gotten another Pathfinder out of it too. One of the Guides older sisters asked me about it and I told her I'd send some information with her sister to Guides. It would be nice to have another one.

Things started to go downhill a little when I got home. Apparently Misty had started developing problems Friday morning but I didn't find out until I got home. her back legs didn't appear to be working well and the front were also appearing weak. By this time the vet was closed and we couldn't do anything about it so I just changed the litter box to something she could get into and waited. We actually went to Owen Sound that night, I bought some stuff I'd need for the Monopoly games and we watched "Happy Feet". It's actually pretty good. It was definitely made to be watched by all ages. It would be a really good teaching movie on a variety of different topics if you wanted to use it that way. It covered topics like: over fishing, global warming, destroying habitat, keeping animals in zoos, being different, family dynamics, religion, plastic beer can things as garbabe, and more! It was very deep, yet very entertaining.

So, today I took Misty to the vets. My Dad came with me cause, truthfully, both of us thought that this was going to be hear last hurrah. Anyway, they did blood tests, tested her choesterol, blood pressure etc and found that she's the healthiest 18 year old cat they've ever seen, except that she appears to have had a kitty stroke. That is the only explanation they can give about why she's walking funny now. However she still seems to be able to get up the stairs and jump on my bed so everythings okay in Misty's world. I just hope she doesn't scare me like this again soon, my heart can't take it.

As for an update on the Monopoly game, it's coming. I've finished the board design, the property cards, and the money. I'm working on the moving pieces and I'm going to work on the Chance and Community Chest cards next. I bought a lot of the supplies I'd need in OS so I'm moving forward. I think the box is going to be the biggest challenge. I won't get to do too much this week as I'm busy Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. Working is going to take up a lot of time and we're carolling Wednesday night with the Guides. Then we're doing the Old Fashioned Christmas, selling S'mores, on Saturday. It should be a good day as we made the program for the event so maybe we'll sell a lot!

So that's about it for now. I'm going to have to keep working on this monopoly thing. My goal is to get it done in time to be able to mail Sarah her's for Christmas. I'm not sure if I'll make it but I'm going to try. I'll definitely have it done for when Amy and Heather get home.  Counting down the days guys!
