Ah, there's the rub
So...I've been thinking of various delicate situations my OMC can crash into with his sullen, grouchy demeanor and I've run into a problem.
So far, everything I think of has a nice, neat resolution. I can't write a story this way. It's dully than dishwater and turns the character into a Gary Stu.
I'm going to have to come up with resolutions that are compromises rather than out and out victories. These are closer to real life and far more interesting. Unfortunately, they're much harder to come up with.
Well, it sure didn't take me long to get tired of this one.
