melissa, holdie, yvette and i saw the walmart movie on friday at the korean church on piedmont. it was like everything you know about evil walmart, but exponentially worse than you thought. as you can imagine, it is the ultimate avaricious, capitalist nightmare. the truculence with which the corporation goes about union-busting (not to mention the amount of money spent on it) truly boggles my tiny mind. they are so fucked on so many levels, and that is but one. but i don't want to ruin it for you. it's free and they have a website where you can find a local place that is showing it.
