Notes: Combination in skating means two or more elements performed in succession, such as spins or jumps. One of the most common spin Combinations is the Haircutter into a Bielmann as the only difference between the two is the height of the free leg behind the head.
Notes 2: Counter-turn is a turn made on one foot that remains on the same edge and results in a change of lobe with the rotation being made outside of the original lobe. A lobe is a semi-circle, so a counter-turn takes a skater, for example, from the lower half of one semi-circle, rotation occurs in the middle of both semi-circles, and the skater would end up on the upper part of the second semi-circle.
