Mal reached for River, dragging her naked form against his own, relishing the feel of her skin against his. The chill from the room had seeped into his bones, making it seem as though touching her set him on fire, as if he really was going to that Special Hell the Shepard always warned him about. Mal thought that if he'd known going to the Special Hell would feel this good, he'd have gone there a long, long time ago.
