Unholy fuckin rant coming... stop reading now if you dont wanna listen to my obscenities.
Silly me to think people would be able to follow a simple baby registry!
I have 56 items on this registry,how many things have been bought so far. 14. thats it. And the shower is like literally a week away.SO there are 42 items still to be purchased. And they arnt like stupid teethers or anything, I need bottles, a bottle drying rack,diapers, sheets,etc. I've taken it upon myself to gather up all the things on the registry that are necessities, this total comes to 29 things totalling $ 745 dollars, which doesnt include a swing, bouncer, crib, changing table, and crib mattress which totals $545 grand total folks = 1,290. So lemme go pull that out of my ass and buy all the things I need, because at this point it looks as though the kid will be sleeping with me in my twin bed with no diapers.Lovely thought isnt it.
Is it so hard for people to go into Toys R Us and pick up some diapers, burping clothes, sheets etc? Really. Cuz Id love to know.
Today my aunt called me and asked if there was anything I needed, and I said well theres only been 14 things people have bought off the registry I just happen to have at TOYS R US!!!!!! And she said " Well I'm looking around at other stores for sales."
I fuckin regret even making a baby shower.
I should have just saved some money each week and bought 2 or 3 things I needed. Which I am doing anyway, I just thought I'd have to buy alot less then I know now that I have to. I knew I wasnt going to get everything on the registry, and that id have to buy shit, but id never thought id have to buy fuckin 29+ things.
And dont get me wrong, my other aunt went to K mart and found the exact same boppy pillow as there was at toys r us for cheaper. And she obviously bought it at k mart and then called toys r us to tell me to take it off the list because she bought it, I have no problem with someone buying it where its cheaper, as long as its the same exact thing from the registry.
what I have on the registry is everything I need. The other things that arnt on the registry were things I was buying on my own. Which was the $ 180 crib, $ 45 bouncer, $ 100 swing,possibly changing table and $ 100 crib mattress.Which is alot of money, so now on top of those things i was planning to buy on my own i now have to pick up the baby registry slack. Its just fucked up. And at this point Im dreading even going to my own fuckin baby shower. How fuckin awful is that.
If I don't like it, its getting THROWN THE FUCK OUT or returned, why?
1. I probably don't need it - if it wasnt on the registry- I dont need ANYMORE clothes!
2. I probably dont want it - because its not the style I like.
3. I have ABSOLUTELY no room for anything I dont need.
So basically if you didnt get it from the registry I DONT NEED IT AND I DONT WANT IT! AND IT WILL GO INTO THE ATTIC WITH THE REST OF THE BULLSHIT THAT PEOPLE ALREADY GOT ME.
But thats right, im the ungrateful cunt because ya know, I spent 4 hours in Toys R Us, picking the things I wanted for my health. yup.
