band camp
I have now been at Concord for four days and thus far I have really really enjoyed myself. I just figured out how to get on the internet today because the RA failed to tell me when I moved in but it's ok because until today I really didn't have too much time to get on it anyway.
So I moved on monday and started what has turned out to be the easiest band camp of my life the hardest part of which was relearning how to march backwards because of the change in style. I have discovered though that probably about half the band is a music or music ed major which is kind of intimidating. But our director Ms. Zamzow is pretty amazing she's quite a lot of fun and a good band director.
I got my post office box yesterday and if anyone would like my address just leave a comment and with your email and I will give it to you.
So I have learned to funk now which is this dancy marchy thing that is apparently this big tradition here and I kind of feel like an idiot doing it but it is fun.
So tomorrow we just get uniforms so I have to go to the business office, get my validation sticker after talking to them, and buy some books.
