Tainted -prologue-
A dark anger rolled through me as I stared at them. At that moment I didn’t know what came over me. One instance, I was just sitting there listening like I normally did at my parents’ rants of how “I’m a horrible son” and how “I was a mistake”.
The next moment I found myself standing. My hands clenched as my vision became tainted with black. Words spilled from my mouth and I realized that they were in a foreign tongue because I didn’t recognize them. All I knew was I couldn’t stop… and I didn’t want to.
Everything swirled around us, with my parent’s horror-stricken faces staring at me. Both of them seemed to realize what I was doing and they looked scared.
I bowed my head and everything became clearer. My senses became more alert. Suddenly I could hear my parents’ inner thoughts. I could hear them and their hurtful words and thoughts about me.
I snapped.
A flash of lightning could be heard as the last words slipped from my lips.
Blood.
Everything was bloody… Everything was messy and bloody.
Then utter blackness.
