Yeah! Yeah!
I am all moved into my new apartment! It....
...kinda sucks...
But that's fine, it's all I can afford. (If I hadn't been running all over the country after certain pretty flail/fail, I might have gotten a better one, but what is, is, and what was, was.) It could be worse.
There are cockroaches in the kitchen. I'm having flashbacks to Japan. And maybe it's the climate, or the fact that Canada's awesome, but I have to point out that before I moved to America, I'd never even seen a roach. Ever. (Alberta also has no rats, period. It's a great place to live!)
But, it's all mine. No roommates, no nothing. Which means, all the bills are fronted by me, but it also means, I have a place that I can lock people out of.
That's very important.
And you know, even though it's only been a week, living alone is making me so productive. I might actually write one of my books. I'm starting to figure out what I really want in my future, and how to get it. Life is not so bad.
And so begins my new adventures in the city. It's been awhile since I've lived in a city. Didn't realize how much I missed it.
