Okay, I just looked at the calendar and it says the 15th of November... 15th of November! Has it already been over two weeks since I came back from San Francisco already? Holy crap.. and I haven't done much but been sick and getting a new moniter for the comp while catching up with work

But work certainly does make time pass so quick. Thats mostly why this entire year just seemed to pass in a instant for me since Yaoicon 06.
And har...my credit card always seems to get beaten up. Being a Final Fantasy collector and cosplayer is expensive.

Though I've heard from some people that Sakura con hasn't gone so well recently.
But yes, getting hold of the older collectables, especially that were made a decade ago in Japan now when FF7 came out is hard and expensive in some cases.
The Original Highwind limited painted resin being the most expensive I've encountered, next to Cloud vs Sephiroth. The older one, not the AC polystone. Each of those could be worth anywhere from 700-2000 dollars on todays market each. Depending on which auction site you use.
But, if you want a cheap collectable, buy one of the new FF7 potion drinks. They were in San Fran in Japan town. They'll be worth something one day when stocks have ran out in a few years.

The limited version comes with a card and a number on it. I think they made 5000 of those older first edition resins. If you got a numbered one then congrats, they came be really expensive nowadays. I paid $230 for my Cloud.
I'm sure you probably own the newer AC playarts figures. Kadaj and Reno supposedly just came out too. Though I've yet to snag one.

People can be devious with this kinda stuff, I've dealt with a lot of auctions of people trying to sell these statues as limited rare versions, but infact, are selling the regular newer ones.
Hmm, you must really be picky then. -Grins.- So, which FF7 merchandise do interest you, I'm curious.

But as for Seph merchandise. There is the AC Playarts figurine. Also, they are currently making a Game Version play arts set of FF7 figures coming out Next month I believe. Seph will also appear in tht set. Not that there is much difference since he always wears the same outfit.
Oh...you might be keen to know this though. If you REALLY are a dedicated Seph fan, you'll want the Master Pieces Sephiroth 20" inch statue. Made from resin and real leather clothing, boots. Its the most detailed Kotobukiya statue with the Cloud. And its pricy, but damn gorgeous. You won't find Sephiroth looking more better. It comes out in December...if no delays. At 400

6" figure... now I am curious about that one. I think it might be from the trading arts set. Do you have any pics?
I usually can tell where something FF7 is from once seeing it.
