I Hate My Life...
Everything went completely wrong yesterday. Don't get me wrong, I had a blast at Nekocon 2 weeks ago and Anime USA this past weekend (and transferred staffs for Katsucon to boot), but the day after a con is supposed to be somewhat relaxing. I say somewhat because I had to go to school right after the con.
Everything was fine in class. It was my anatomy class (where I pay attention to the power point, not the teacher), so that was fine. I went home and role played with Tiffany until she had to work. As I was moving my stuff to my room before I had to leave for work, I discovered my cable box wasn't on. I had no power to my room at all! I called Mom to tell her and she informed my dad. My room and my brother's room next door were affected. The rest of the house was fine. At the time of this writing, it's still not fixed.
I went to work and thought my day would get better. NOPE. I got 2 stiffs (meaning I didn't get a tip) and got off an hour late, even though I told my manager I had homework to do. Not to mention the 2nd stiff I got didn't answer the door so I had to go back to the store, call him, and discovered he WAS home. Not to mention my last run, which made me get off that late, was to 2 hotels on opposite ends of the same road. Talk about annoying.
So needless to say, I'm looking for another job. I have found myself needing another oil change before 3 months. My dad has also had to replace my brakes and tires since my inspection in May. Between us, we can't afford the constant repairs my car needs driving 50-100 miles a day. I am also tired of my school schedule being overlooked. School is more important, but I need a job that gives me more satisfaction in what I earn.
AMA 1/2 is this weekend, where I will be judging the Cosplay Fashion Show. The rest of the week better work out better or I will be very grumpy.
