Dear Writer,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write me a fic. I’m super pumped to see what you come up with!
I am really easy to please. I like everything from fluff to angst, to hurt/comfort, and basically anything else you can think of. I'm a big fan of exploring power imbalances in ships, so if you want to take that route, I'd be thrilled.
Pretty much whatever you would like to write would make me happy. I do prefer fics to be at least semi-related to canon: if you'd like to write an AU, I prefer ones that are canon-related. I also prefer to avoid rape/noncon. I’ll try and give you some direction by fandom, but really, I’d be happy with nearly anything.
Final Fantasy VII
I am only familiar with OG, Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus, just so you know. I love the world of VII (especially Edge and Midgar), and I love all the characters. However you want to explore the world of VII is something I will dig.
Aeris/Tseng: I like this pairing anyway I can get it. If you want something softer, with Tseng trying to help her, that's great. Or if you want to do something harsher, that deals with him being a Turk and the power imbalances between them, I'd love that. The more twisted the better!
Elena/Tseng: I love the idea of Elena and Tseng being partners much the same way Rude and Reno are. Maybe something exploring the nitty gritty realities of building a partnership? Or maybe something dealing with the Turks thinking Tseng dead? Or the time spent being tortured by the Silver Haired Men? Feel free to soften the Turks, or to make them as dark as you want. I enjoy both interpretations.
Tifa/Barret: Anything would be great! Feel free to explore something pre, during, or post canon. I love the way the two interact with one another, and how caring they are.
There is a lot of Yuffie on this list! With pairings about her, feel free to set it in any timeframe (except maybe Shalua, since that’s such a specific time window?) I really like stuff about her time in the WRO and stuff about her connection to Wutai, but also I love seeing how the events of game change Yuffie, so kinda anything that can take her seriously would be great. With Tifa, I really love that she cares so much about the people around her, that she never gives up even when she has no reason to. If you want to write Tifa/Yuffie, maybe something about how Yuffie fits into Marlene, Denzel, and Tifa’s lives in Edge? How a relationship could work (or not work!) because of Yuffie being needed in Wutai, or the WRO or whatever. Or something in game! Like I said, anything would be great. If including Vincent, I’d love to see the navigation of a poly relationship between Yuffie, Vincent, and Tifa. Both Yuffie and Vincent seem to travel a lot in comparison to Tifa, what does that mean for the relationship? How do they navigate their three very different priorities and needs?
Yuffie/Shalua: I would love to see them bonding over their time working in the WRO. Maybe something with them discussing the things in life they fight for, the causes they would die for. Or if you wanted it set after Shalua’s sacrifice, some angst would be great. Yuffie is a character who’s lost a lot--I’d love to see how she reacts to the new loss.
Yuffie/Shelke: I would love to see something set post Dirge with these two. How do they navigate their histories, and their shared history? What is Shelke’s life like now?
Final Fantasy XII
Fran/Ashe: I love just how different the two of them are. Seriously, anything would be great--during game or after game. I’d love to see how the concepts of love and loyalty might play out between the two of them.
Vaan/Basch: I’d sort of like to see something that at least begins at the start of things, when Vaan is still trying to work past his hatred. Beyond that, I just really loved that Vaan was the first person to forgive and try to connect to Basch. And I mean, Basch had just gone through years of torture, I’m sure he’d be starved for friendly faces.
Vaan/Balthier: I’d love to see anything. The not-quite mentor relationship they have is fascinating, and I’d love to see how that played out.
Basch/Vossler: I’d would be happy to see anything. Their dynamic, especially in the game itself with Basch’s “betrayal” hanging over them, really pinged a lot of buttons for me. If you want to set it before game, with them learning to trust one another, or during game as sort of a love/hate thing, or even some form of after-game AU where they meet one another again and have to deal with the aftermath of everything.
Penelo/Basch: I find the two of them to be fairly similar in a lot of ways. I’d love to see something that explores the similarities and differences between them, and how those might play out in their relationship.
Penelo/Larsa/Vaan: I would love to see something post-game. How would the Emperor of Archades navigate a relationship with two sky pirates? What would a relationship between the three look like?
Final Fantasy XIII
Sazh/Lightning: I liked the maturity that Sazh brought to the story, how he was the one who grounded a lot of the other characters. I loved how he tried to support everybody. So, maybe something with Lightning learning to let herself lean a little bit on him, instead of just going on her own... Or maybe something after-game that ignores XIII-2 and Lightning Returns canon that focuses on her fitting into his and Dajh’s life? Or bonding over their shared losses? Or maybe Lightning and him get into a marksmanship contest? Really, anything would make me happy.
Serah/Snow/Lightning: I would really be excited to see all the nitty gritty details of them trying to navigate a poly relationship. I have no preconceived notions of how it would happen, though it could be set in an AU post-XIII world or in XIII-2 somehow, or after Lightning Returns. Maybe some form of paradox ending, like Fate and Freedom, or something. Other than that, I really like Serah/Snow when it’s not all about Snow saving Serah but when they’re on more equal footing. I love the growth Serah went through, especially in the second game, so something that explores that would be great, too.
Serah/Snow/Hope: Again, I’d love to see the nitty-gritty of building a poly relationship. Feel free to set this anywhere in canon, though I would prefer Hope to be at least 16.
Sazh/Nabaat: I would love to see anything with these two. Feel free to make it as twisted as you want, and ignore her death as you see fit.
Noel/Serah: I liked how the two of them challenged each other to grow in the second game. If you want to set it in the second game, or in any of the paradox endings, that would be great. I’d also love to see the aftermath of Serah’s death on Noel, or something set after Lightning Returns. Really, anything would be great.
Hope/Snow: I like the jagged edges of these two and how Hope eventually learns to trust Snow. Feel free to set this in any time of canon, but I would prefer that Hope be at least 16 if anything romantic happens.
MCU
I enjoy Pietro, Wanda, and Clint in any combination. I’d love to see something set after AoU (feel free to ignore Pietro’s death). Feel free to make it domestic, fluffy, twisted, messy, whatever works. Would Clint be worried that Wanda would poke around in his head (even on accident)? How does the twins’s shared history affect any potential relationship (even with one another)? Sky’s the limit, here.
Jane/Thor/Darcy: I really just love the way the three interact. I think Darcy is hilarious, and I love watching Jane save the day with science, and Thor’s basic goodness and compassion are amazing. Seriously, whatever you want to do with them would be great.
With Natasha, Steve, and Sam, I like them in any combination. Just do whatever works for you. Make it sweet, make it messy, have it be domestic, have it be some kind of adventure, seriously, sky’s the limit.
Sam/Wanda: I’d love to see anything. How do the two of them interact? What would trust look like between them? Could they trust each other?
Natasha/Wanda: I would love to see the aftermath of AoU with these two. How would Natasha feel about Wanda, given Wanda messing with her mind? What about Bruce and Pietro’s losses? How would they work together?
Supernatural
Sam/Kevin: sky is the limit. Seriously. If you want to write them as fluffy study boyfriends, or if you want something that explores something darker or harsher, that’s fantastic. If you want to write something about Kevin being a ghost, or something before, I’m totally game. I’m happy with whatever.
Kevin/Crowley: I’m not super interested in seeing anything happy or fluffy. I really like how manipulative of Kevin Crowley was, and the ways that Kevin tried to fight back. Seriously, go nuts. I really like how creepy a romantic relationship between them could be, or how antagonistic. That being said, I don’t really want to see any non-con, but dub-con (especially of the “not wanting to want it” variety) would be totally cool.
Sam/Amelia: I love how messy and hurty they were, I love how they didn’t always communicate well but they tried. I just really dug everything. Feel free to set this anywhere in canon, during their year together or after or whatever. I’m totally cool if you want to introduce Amelia to the supernatural, too.
Dean/Meg/Cas: feel free to go completely wild. Make it fluffy, make it really disturbing, make it somewhere in between, I’m happy. Feel free to address Dean and Meg’s shared experiences in Hell, or when Meg shot Dean while wearing Sam. Set it anywhere in canon, I’m totally cool. I just prefer that everyone involved is an equal part of the relationship.
Anna/Cas/Dean: I would love to see anything, as long as everyone involved is an equal part of the relationship. I’d love to see the history between Cas and Anna addressed in some way.
Linda/Jody: I would love to see anything that explores what a relationship between them could be like. Do they both become hunters? Bond over their similar experiences? Not get along? Sky’s the limit.
Gadreel/Sam: I would love to see something twisted set in s9 that deals with Gadreel’s possession and how horrified by it Sam was.
Victor/Dean: I just love their relationship. Feel free to set this anywhere in canon (feel free to ignore Victor’s death as you see fit). Honestly, I just love the interactions between the two.
Like I said, I’m really really easy to please. I like a wide variety of things, and the ideas I’ve put here are just something to get you started thinking if you’re having trouble.
