Dear Writer,
First, thank you for taking time to write a fic for me! I’m really excited to see what you come up with.
That being said, I know that my prompts are really vague. So hopefully I’ll be able to give a little more direction here.
I’m super easy to please. I like angst, hurt/comfort, bonding, case fic, families of choice, character studies, and essentially everything else. About the only thing I don’t dig is anything that’s really cracky or intensely fluffly, but I’m totally good with humor. Also, I prefer third person narration.
I do like things to stay at least rooted in canon, but I'm not really particular where you set it. I like things set in canon, I like things set before canon, and I like things set after canon. I also like AUs that are canon-related (for example, if Ash didn't die in s2, what could have happened?) So feel free to do what makes sense for you and the story you're telling.
I’ve asked for a lot of minor characters, mostly because I’m really interested in seeing more of their stories, since we don't tend to get them in the series as much. That being said, I’m totally happy to see the brothers--I like both Sam and Dean, so feel free to utilize them however you see fit. And feel free to include other characters, too. Whatever helps you, or you think would be interesting.
I’m also not picky about POV characters. You can use one of the characters I've directly asked for, you can use another character (say, Dean's perspective on Ruby, for example), or an outsider's POV. Sky's the limit, really. I'm happy to see whatever you come up with.
Really, what I’m looking for is something about characters I love and how they interact with the world and/or the people around them. However you think is best to do that, I will probably really dig.
