so today I went over to berkeley's anime con.
very small. but the artists that were there.. wow @_@ I feel so depressed now. -sigh- :C
I ended up spending most of the con talking to one of them |D; -fail-
although before that, I was talking to one of the regulars to the manga social (also an officer of the club), who's really good at drawing...shoujo-ish style. he's a guy. x-x so it's kinda weird, but I guess a guy would want to draw girls just like I like drawing guys HAHAHA
anyway, two of the other officers (both girls) came and one, being a yaoi fangirl, (and I guess the other is too, but one was more outspoken about it) asked him to draw her two guys, in suits preferably, doing whatever he felt comfortable doing. LOOOOL.
so I stood there and watched him draw a guy pinning (sort of) another guy to the wall, with his hand under the other guy's chin all -seductive look!-

it was pretty funny, when other officers (male) came by and he's all UGH WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME I'M DRAWING YAOI (BL, as the female officers put it, since it wasn't explicit) I'M NEVER DRAWING GUYS AGAIN and the other (male) officers lol'd at him.

watched togainu no chi 2 in the car. my brother was looking, so I was hoping there wouldn't be any obviously.. BL...references...since it IS based on a BL game x-x'''' so awkward.

after the con, we went to a restaurant in santa clara called Birks (we'd gone there before for my dad's company dinner), because today's my dad's bday. O:
uffmdsgh expensive. D:' not as expensive as the place we went to for my bro's 21st bday, but it's still TAKAAIIIIII. :c
and...wasn't as good, obviously. It was still yummmm, but...imo, I'd pick a decent place that's fairly cheap (less than $30) over a high-end place with over $30 food. because there's a limit to how good you can make something taste, but there's no limit to prices... ._. I'm not THAT much of a connoisseur(sp?)
and also, I started getting signs of my nausea and crap. ._. the past few weeks have been the best I've had in almost a year, healthwise, since I rarely had any symptoms. yesterday and today I started getting it again ;-; mehh....
lalala...can't wait to see star driver tomorrow. or monday. I want my dose of GALACTIC PRETTY BOYZ.
I was looking at the subber's site, and found that there was an interview/panel thing with the creators of the anime. apparently it's SUPPOSED to be magical girl-esque. LOL!!!!
