n____n
I went to sleep at a little past 5AM TEHEH. because, my brother wouldn't go to bed until it was already 3AM (even though he has school today! I wish I could do that....)
and I wanted to watch stuff. So I had to wait until he left. u____u
in the meantime, I finished the yearbook cover, but then it seems mr. fong sent MORE pictures so I'll have to figure out what I should replace... -sigh-
those stupid 8th graders and their grand canyon trip! if they didn't go at the beginning of the year, I wouldn't have this trouble! and it's not fair because the 10th and 12th grade trips are at the end of the year and so don't get featured in the yearbook. FAIL.
after I finished the cover, I did my secret sister gift for tennis......in which this is the final one where we'll reveal ourselves.
so I drew Big Bang because it seems she likes that group and K-Pop in general. ah...I was lazy, I so just drew a close up of G-D from his heartbreaker PV (where you can see his tattoo clearly), and chibis of G-D, TOP, Taeyang, D-lite, and Seungri.
look at me, I already know their names (or at least, their nicknames. which is good enough.) now! but I'd only be able to recognize TOP and maybe D-lite if they were stuck into a crowd of other people. And maybe Taeyang, if he has the hat. LOL! but Seungri and G-D....I can't recognize them at all.
well, screw that. I'm not going to be sucked into K-Pop just yet!
anyway so after my bro went to bed, I finished off the drawing, then took my bro's laptop to mi room yay 8D;
I watched the Security Police SP first. (start time...3:30AM, maybe?) much of it was flashbacks, mixed with bits from the "present." I don't know. So I watched the "present" parts and some of the flashbacks that I liked. I think the SP takes place in the timeframe a little before the end of the last episode. Because it ends in exactly the same way as the last episode ended. I suppose the movie will finally resolve the treachery of everyone!
then, since it was "only" like, 4-something when I finished that (since I skipped through a lot of the flashbacks, it only took like 30-40 minutes to watch a 1 hr 47 min special)
so I decided to watch Tokyo DOGS.
wow, I totally did not expect ...a lot of ..it.. I thought it would be a somewhat serious drama? but it's so full of crack and like overexaggeration on Hiro's part (which I like, actually...it's funny) .....and a bunch of jokes about Americanism. some of which are kind of funny, I admit, but some are a little offensive (but I guess the Japanese like laughing at us??? well it's only fair, because I guess we make fun of bits of their culture too.)
hmmm...I hate Oguri's hair. because he barely has any. LOL it's like an inch long. but I realized that it makes sense because he was part of the police forces in America...and if he had long hair in the US he wouldn't survive, I swear. (and we probably have hair-cut requirements)
seems like
this girl is a main character....man, what a creepy picture. in this drama, she's an amnesiac, and a little weird. In the other drama I saw her in, Love Shuffle, she was weird too. and kind of out of it. these kinds of roles must suit her...
and omfg Oguri's english. -DIE- when he's trying to bark commands over the radio/walkie-talkie, he sounds so ........like he's trying to woo a girl, seriously. He doesn't say it with urgency, probably because he's trying to focus on the pronunciation (which isn't all that great, but not too bad either)
and Hiro randomly throws in random English, but oftentimes it's with a Japanese accent, even though I know full well he can speak perfectly good English. maybe the Japanese fans like it more if they can understand the Engrish he's saying rather than regular English. even though there's subtitles, so why should that matter??
it's amazing how many dramas use the US or other Western countries as tools for plot advancement. (does Europe count as a Western country???)
From what I've watched,
BOSS (US, namely NY)
Buzzer Beat (US, namely Boston)
Coffee Prince (US)
Gokusen (somewhat, Yankumi just wants to go to Hawaii....)
Hana Kimi (US, namely California)
Hana Yori Dango (US, namely NY; movie: Las Vegas.. [then Hong Kong...])
Kimi wa Petto (Europe, namely Germany)
Long Vacation (Europe, right at the end, they go to...someplace in Europe)
Mr. Brain (US)
Nodame Cantabile (Europe, namely France ..I think)
Proposal Daisakusen (US, in the SP- Hawaii)
Ryuusei no Kizuna (Canada LOOOOL)
The Quiz Show 2 (US, first episode with that weird-haired guy they vid-conference'd)
Yamada Taro Monogatari (US)
Yukan Club (Europe, at least for Taguchi's character's heritage)
Zettai Kareshi (Europe, namely Paris)
and haven't finished watching,
Karei Naru Spy (US)
Tokyo DOGS (US, namely NY)
Other:
Nobuta wo Produce (Africa LOL in the first ep. with the plane crash)
Prisoner (fictional country near like, Thailand or something)
I'm probably missing some because I can't remember everything that happened =0=
New York seems popular! and Hawaii! LOL sometimes I wish I lived near NY
my favorites are the ones that actually film on location, like HYD and Nodame ~ 8D
