Sigh...I got back yesterday from Holland. One full week of wedding stuff and now I don't know what to do with myself. Well, actually, I have a unit to plan as well as a presentation I'm giving to some kids on Thursday, that should keep me busy until Saturday when I head up to da UP.
The wedding was beautiful and I had a great time! (And I'm not just saying that Amanda Sue) Here is the low-down of the crazy busy week we had -
*Sunday - went to Holland, figured out programs
*Monday - made programs, went to St. Joseph, dr. appt,
*Tuesday - back to Holland, picked up linens, went to reception hall, finished programs, back to St. Joseph
*Wednesday - went to South Bend to look for an Amanda approved dress for her sister for rehersal dinner, didn't find one (but I did get a fedora for $3!)
*Thursday - Amanda's sister and I went shopping for bachalorette party, went to get our nails done, Kim and I went to set up the hotel for the party, then out for dinner and back to the hotel
*Friday - Back to Holland, helped set up reception hall, out for lunch, got ready for rehersal, wedding rehersal, rehersal dinner, back to St. joseph
*Saturday - up at 6, got coffee, went to get hair done, drove to the church in Holland, got Amanda ready, got myself ready (Amanda, I found your lipstick in my purse), got pictures taken, ceremony, hopped in limo, got more pictures taken, went for icecream, dripped it on my dress (oops), went to reception, ate, gave toast, made Amanda cry, danced the night away, rode to Grand Rapids to stay at Kim's place
*Sunday - back to Holland for the opening of the gifties, went to East Lansing on the way home to see Teresa, walked the cats, drove all the way home
Well, there it all is. And now I have to unload my car and get laundry sorted, then get dressed so I can go see Grandma and take her to see Grandpa. Hope you all have a wonderful day - I'm just going to try and survive the heat. After being in a climate where it didn't really get over 30 degrees for 6 months or so, this 80 degree weather is killin' me.
