Museum Picspam for Sissi!
I promised that I'd try and post more museum dresses pics today. Alas and alack, however, there were a million "miscellaneous" boxes (full of old gloves, undies, handkerchiefs), and then when I started getting to the good stuff, the camera I was using ran out of battery! D: So all I have to offer are these...
This is a genuine World War I American infantry uniform. Note the amazing pants, with the puffy hips and drawstring ankles! IT'S SO AWESOMELY WORLD WAR ONE! :DDD I even found the corresponding gaiters in another box!
We go from WWI infantry to WWII navy! This is an American sailor's dress dungaree shirt, complete with awesome hat (that you can't see in the picture, :{). Funny story - I found about fifty regulation sailors' dungarees in the same box, and didn't realize until this one (the last one) that I had had them all inside out. *facepalm*
Hopefully there'll be a better selection tomorrow! :)
