okay...so yeah, i woke up feeling like crap this am. yeah i got problems, as you can read my other lj entries, and im sad cause maybe my 'emotional status' is not where id like it to be...but then along came a phone call...
it was brother marcus in austin (we are brothers in the masonic sense, that would be another entry that i couldnt write about anyway - so lets just say we are sorta bonded by blood)..anyhow, he's checkin up on me, making sure im hanging in there with things, and this girl business...and hes been through a shitload of heartbreak himself, he's finally happy, and he worked extremely hard to get there...he gave me some good inspiring advice, too keep me on track, and something that i didnt think would make that much difference, he say mans, break out with Collection II (and those of you who have it, know it as collection II aka the best of the misfits vol 2), and let the Jawbreaker rest a few days...and let me tell you, driving in my car, and hearing 'teenagers from mars', "horror biz, "who killed marilyn", "where eagles dare'...FORCE INJECTED INTO ME LIKE A THUNDERBOLT. i forgot what it felt like to feel ENERGIZED instead of PULVERIZED....so good thing huh..??

just wanted to say, and this is my LJ, that in no future existance, or present for that fact, NO KIND OF ENERGY LIKE THAT HAS EVER EXISTED IN MUSIC. im walking proof...right now me typing (see previous entry for exhibit a). NO AMOUNT OF DOING BACKFLIPS, OR HIGH KICKS, OR HURRICANE ZOOMDWEEBIES, OR KNOCKING OUT YOUR PARTNER (DO SI DO) WITH YOU SWINGING FIST WILL EVER COMPARE TO THE MISFITS IN EARLY 80'S WAILING AND SCREAMIN LIKE ZOMBIES THAT ARE GONNA GIVE YOUR ASS HELL AND CHARGE YA RENT!! I DONT CARE HOW MANY HOODIES YOU OWN, OR PASTEL BANDANAS YOU GOT, IT WONT EVER HAPPEN...EVER!
yeah, so maybe you are too young, it wasnt your era, so it wasnt your fault. but hey, guess what, well these are BOTH my eras, and take it from me - you were born too late, cause some of the shows i see now make me wanna barf!!!!!!!!!! so what can you do??? we start by getting ahold of the video 'misfits live in 84 - detroit'(its a boot so youll have to use ebay) AND STUDY IT....and none of this new misfit stuff....COME ON FOLKS! or pick up the boxed set, there you got it all....and see that you dont have to have "WAIL WAIL WAIL"...breakdown..."WAIL WAIL"...closing breakdown....to make people wanna get their asses up...and you know thats the only time people dance now days, you can suck ass and have a breakdown...boom you're cool..did that sting?? thats pride fukin with ya.....
sorry if i chipped anyones pink nail polish...but im trying to pull myself up from a downward spiral, and this is how im doing it...sue me fukers...
