Currently in a state of mild academic panic.

Let me explain. Something happened to my sleeping pattern these past two weeks that resulted in my not going to any of my morning classes...for the past two weeks. I have gone to German diligently (save once), skipped Band once, and lab once. Just over-all laziness and not doing work. While the not-doing-work hasn't affected me so much, as textbook reading, I have discovered, isn't exactly necessary in the classes I'm taking, going to class was...kind of necessary. As I missed out on a couple of important announcements.

Yesterday and this morning I have found out two very important things about this week.
One, that there is an archaeology test this Thursday based on the material of the two weeks I have not gone to class. I am not so worried about this, because while some of his questions are based on random stories he tells, or his opinions, the tests are also cumulative, and you can buy the notes from Bill's (I will be doing so either today or Wednesday).
Two, and most importantly, I apparently have an essay due today at 3:30pm, that I didn't know about. Based on material covered when I didn't go to class.

Um...whoops?

I'm fairly certain that I can accomplish this essay with some fancy footwork and epic scrambling--my only problem is that I can't skip Archaeology at 11--I'm not missing the class before a test.

I, of course, after staying up all night doing nothing because I woke up ridiculously late and staying up is my attempt at getting my body clock straight, I don't find out about this essay until now. Six in the goddamn morning. When I had a fleeting thought that I should probably check when that assignment was due.

I know that, on average, it takes me about three hours of actual writing to finish a 4-6 page paper. I have 9-ish hours, minus 1.5 for Archaeology, and perhaps another hour for breakfast, which I need. That's not too bad, but I don't know anything about what I'm writing about.
Hasn't stopped me before.

Before I start on The Epic Academic Floundering About Week of 2010, I am going to write a honeydo list, that only pertains to school, to get my mind in order.

German:
Whatever daily homework I have (I believe due today is a short short essay on a concert)
Presentation on Kafka, due April 14th (aka in about two weeks)
      Test 3 sometime in April
Archaeology
      Test 3 this Thursday
Lab
      Go there
Language & Culture
      That damn paper, due TODAY
Go to class. Attendance counts in this one.
Band
      Concert, in about two weeks
Also, finals in German, Archaeology, and L&C last week of April (fact check later).

Amazing how I did so well last semester with 16 credits, and how this semester I want to kill myself and I'm taking 12. And next fall I'm taking 17. Oh joy.

Also? I haven't done my taxes yet.

Whoops.

(In better news, I am now a Nerdfighter).

school, fffffffuuuuuuuuuu--, stress, worldsuck
