The Things I Learned in College, by Melissa Clancy, age 18 and a half, part 1.
1. You will never ever be on top of the game. You will always be just a little bit behind.
2. Sleep is a precious asset made of either gold or fudge or both.
3. Zombies are a formidable enemy defeated only with Nerf guns and balled up socks.
4. No matter how hot it is, bring your sweatshirt. You'll regret it if you don't.
5. The expiration dates on grocery items, specifically milk and packaged cold cuts, lie, and are grossly overestimated.
