School is dizzying.

I haven't slept the entire night. I was extremely unproductive this weekend, but this is what this next week will look like for me:

Today (Monday): Cultural anthro essay due (finished at 5:30 this morning, at 1000 words on the nose)
Tuesday: have read: Tolkein letters on allegory, Lewis, and Christianity; "The Lord of the Hobbits" by Fuller; "Power and Meaning in LotR" by Spacks, and six selected chapters of the first Book (sub-book) of LotR read.
Wednesday: have chatper 5 of cultural anthropology read
Thursday: 2000 word paper on Narnia due, Physical Anthropology exam on the first four chapters, and have read 8 chapters of book two, and 6 chapters of book three. Oh, and study for my lab quiz and read the handout for this lab. and have gone over scales, hands together, four octaves, sixteenth notes. and chords.
Friday: Italian exam.

*yanks hair out*

Since I spent the night getting my essay written, I'm spending the rest of today reading for Religion and Fantasy Lit. Hopefully tomorrow I'll start studying for physical and starting to get my Narnia paper together.

Also, on Tuesday I have a meeting with the representative for the College of Arts and Sciences so I can appeal to the dean to keep my anthropology major. im too tired to go into it (as you can probably tell by my sloppy typing), but basically, administration is made of douchebags.

on top of all that, this whole not having a job thing is positively dismal. im draining money slowly out of my account, and there's nothing to refill it! this is not good. but, i have very little time for a job as it is. i'm thinking of applying to be a desk clerk in my residence hall, just because all you do is sit there for a few hours. I can afford to do that, especially if I can get some homework done in the meantime.

i'm starting to run out of gas--blargh. i'm gonna get ready for class, which is in an hour, and then get a nice big breakfast at the dining hall afterward. nom.

also? tolkein needs to stop using so many words.

school, mel does things, sleep is for the weak
