Diamonds and Rust
It's a been a long time since I've updated. Things are starting to go pretty well. Lots of stupid shit happened in the beginning of the semester and as usual I reacted to it quite poorly. I'm still getting over it. I'm almost there though. Almost. I've met some really cool people this semester which is weird because I never meet people. I'm not hiding as much either which is something I was afraid of since I have a single. Silence is so sweet at times.
I've started going to Open Mic at Red Square and reading my poetry. I hate when there are more than seven people in the room, I get so nervous. Last night I actually got a pretty okay response. People were actually clapping and I got a couple of "oohs." I take that as a good sign. I am trying to get more involved in my writing and become a better English student. This doesn't often happen though since I very rarely do the reading I'm supposed to complete.
(I've fallen in love with Ralph Emerson and I'd like to have his babies).
